Oops I did it again. Giant props to Sluicebox for discovering that those random skips we would get are not random at all! From the start of the game, the game "refreshes" itself every 18:12 and skips things. Generally get confused. So by taking an average of how long it took me to get to the old man scene and adding a countdown to account for the difference, I helped ensure that 18:12 moment would happen during that scene. And it works every time! I counted down from 60 seconds from game boot up, but that time may vary from player to player.

King's Quest 5 (French Floppy Version) in 25:06

I'm still learning the French floppy version, the timing is so very different than the CD version. It's certainly a more painless run without the unskippable voice acting. I'm still committing the copy protection to memory but I think I have a fair grasp of it..

King's Quest 5 in 26:36 (Current WR)

Still a lot of misclicks to correct, both overall things went well! Tiny optimisations here are there: cutting the corner out of the bandit tent, throwing the pie when the yeti is closer, and the discovery of the Modack Skip at the end which knocks off 5 seconds or so. Great witch and castle RNG = happy run. Very certain there's another 10-15 seconds to be saved with the route as it is right now.
